Kerivoula depressa and other woolly bats (Kerivoula spp.) are usually found in evergreen forests with low to moderate disturbance (Douangboubpha et al. 2016, Tu et al. 2018). The understory of such forests usually includes bamboo and banana and like other Kerivoula spp., K. depressa may roost in the internodal spaces of bamboo or in the furled leaves of banana plants (Tu V.T., per. obs.).	Although the threats to the species are not well known, as a forest interior specialist deforestation is likely to threaten the species in parts of its range.	Kerivoula depressa is a forest dwelling species which appears to be moderately common. However, its abundance, population size is not known, but is unlikely to be declining fast enough to qualify for listing in a threatened category.	Unknown	This species has been found from central-east Myanmar (Karin Hills) eastwards to northern Vietnam and southwards through Lao PDR, Cambodia and Thailand to peninsular Thailand and peninsular Myanmar. It has been recorded in lowland areas through to montane areas above 1,453 m asl (Douangboubpha et al. 2016, Tu et al. 2018).	The species is not known to be hunted, used or traded.	Terrestrial	This species has been recorded in numerous protected areas across its range. Additional research is needed to determine its population status and trends, threats, and ecology.
