Bhattacharya (2002) caught two individuals at a small pool of water in dense forest with thick undergrowth.<a name="_GoBack"></a></p>	<p><span lang="EN-US">This species is likely threatened by deforestation, generally resulting from logging operations and the conversion of land for human settlements and tourism in Mussourie (Molur et al . 2002). The threats affecting the species in Mizoram are not known (Bhattacharya 2002). Diversion of forest land for shifting cultivation and conversion to oil palm plantations is on the rise and may be a potential threat (Chakravarty pers. comm).</p>	The abundance, population size and trends for this species are not known (Molur et al. 2002).	Unknown	<p><span lang="EN-US">This species is endemic to India and has been recorded from Sairep in Lunglei district of Mizoram and Jharipani near Mussourie, Uttarakhand (Bhattacharyya 2002, Molur et al . 2002). It has been recorded from elevations above 1,360 m asl. The area of occupancy is not estimated as there is limited information on the species distribution and taxonomy (Molur et al. 2002).</p>		Terrestrial	<p><span lang="EN-US">There are no conservation measures in place, and the species has not been reported from any protected area as yet, although suitable habitats exists at Benog Wildlife Sancutary in Mussourie, Phawngpui National Park and Ngenpui and Khawnglung Wildlife Sanctuaries in the vicinity of Lunglei district (Chakravorty pers. comm).
