There appears to be little information available on the natural history of this species. Lunde et al. (2001) recorded three specimens (allocated toG. egeria ) collected in dense secondary tropical lowland forest and along a forest road.	The threats to this species are not known.	This species is known from very few specimens.	Unknown	This little known African bat has currently only been recorded from three localities. The type locality is Bibundi in the Western Province of Cameroon (Thomas 1913); three individuals (as G. cf. egeria ) were collected from Dzanga-Sangha Special Dense Forest Reserve in the Central African Republic (Lunde et al . 2001); the species indicated as being present in western Uganda by Koopman (1993), although further details are needed of the collection site in this country. Terrestrial	It has been recorded from the Dzanga-Sangha Special Dense Forest Reserve in the Central African Republic (Lunde et al . 2001), and may be present in additional protected areas. Further field surveys are needed to better determine the distribution, natural history and possible threats to this little known bat.	Afrotropical FALSE	FALSE	Global	Simmons, N. B., & Cirranello, A.
