Monotypic.	Known only from type locality in C Sulawesi .	Head-body 108:3-115- 3 mm , tail 26:1-31- 6 mm , ear 18-20 mm , forearm 75-6-77- 5 mm ; weight 80-99 g . The Linduan Rousette is a typical rousette, with tail membrane densely furred dorsally, breast fur cream to white in males, zygomatic width relatively large, and braincase relatively high. It differs from sympatric Sulawesi Rousette ( R. celebensis ) by having densely furred forearms, shorter and wider rostrum, and generally smaller craniodental dimensions. Fur on forehead is dark brown to grayish brown, and sides of neck are brownish beige, with large spot of golden brown on each side. Back fur is longer and more golden brown and reddish than in the Sulawesi Rousette, with cocoa hair tips. Dark brown fur spreads out from upper arms andjoins to form central line on lower back. Sides of rump and dorsal side of upper part of tibia are cinnamon-brown. Hairs on rump have camel-colored bases and cinnamon-brown tips. Fur on rest oftibia is grayish brown. Chest is cream-colored, and abdomen is chocolate-brown, with tan flanks. Fur on ventral side of upper arm and adjoining wing membrane is yellowish. Glans penisis irregularly shaped and hairy. Dentition is generally typical of species of Rousettus , and lower incisors are about equal in size and bifid.	Only recorded from swamp forest at 900-1200 m .	No information.	Adult male Linduan Rousettes collected in March and July had descended scrotum with enlarged testes.	Linduan Rousettes are presumably nocturnal, leaving caves at dusk and returning before dawn. All specimens were collected using mist nets set 6-8 m from the ground, suggesting movement below forest canopies.	No information.	Classified as Data Deficient on The IUCN Red List. Little biogeographical and ecological information exists for the Linduan Rousette because it was recently described.
