There is inadequate information to make an assessment of risk of extinction based on distribution or population status.	In Guinea caught flying over a creek in closed canopy rainforest on the west (humid) side of the Simandou Range. In Liberia, a specimen was collected emerging from a roost in the roof of a house in a small village at the base of Mt Nambia.	This species is threatened by deforestation from conversion of its habitat to agricultural use and due to mining activities.	There is not enough information about population abundance of this species.	Unknown	This species occurs in the upper Guinea region of West Africa. So far its known distribution is limited to the Guinee Forestiere Region of Guinea (Simandou Range, West Side) and the Liberian side of the Mount Nimba range. Terrestrial	The single known Guinea locality is part of the Forêt Classée du Pic de Fon (Forest Reserve) but also inside an iron ore mining concession. The Liberia site is highly degraded, but is close to East Nimba Nature Reserve, where the species may also occur.	Afrotropical FALSE	FALSE	Global	Simmons, N. B., & Cirranello, A. L. (2023).
